Job Description:

Job Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Develops recruiting strategies and branding for attracting top talent, including utilization of internet job boards, social media & university, professional job boards and career fairs.

  • Works with Human Resources and senior leadership to ensure staffing levels remain at optimal level adhering to budgeted headcount for each department and or business unit.

  • Creates and manages job requisitions for assigned business units.

  • Partners with Hiring Manager to understand qualifications and requirements for open positions.

  • Develops job descriptions for new positions working with functional management and Human Resources.

  • Develops an effective pipeline for talent.

  • Evaluates applications, performs interviews and makes recommendations on progression to the next interview phase.

  • Schedules and coordinates all interviews with internal stakeholders.

  • Develops interview guides and questionnaires as needed.

  • Provides monthly reporting on recruiting metrics and scorecard summarizing talent acquisition activity.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:



  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience

Experience:



  • 4 years of experience in the industrial recruiting field

  • Previous experience with applicant tracking and HRIS Systems (Ultipro experience is a plus).

Other Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:



  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with peers, candidates, vendors and other partners.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Adobe Reade.

  • Working knowledge of UltiPro software

  • Staffing tools such as applicant tracking software, HRIS systems, electronic job boards, social media and candidate sourcing applications.

  • Strong knowledge of internet recruiting processes

  • Ability to prioritize, stay organized and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Ability to travel to client locations (occasional travel, up to 10%)

Interpersonal Communications:


Frequent contact with all levels in the organization and external contact requiring negotiation. Above average oral and written communication skills with good vocabulary and good grammar to interact with multiple internal, external and executive contacts. Spanish language skills a plus.  Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of personnel, as well as external suppliers and organizations. This role requires working as part of a team therefore maintaining open communication is necessary.


Physical Demand:


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools, controls and office equipment. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch.
