Job Description:




North American Bancard, LLC is looking for a product engineer with Node.js experience to work on our PayAnywhere mobile product. Able to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

We have opportunities from associate to senior level. 


What you will be doing: 

  • Translate business requirements and use case into functional applications.

  • Design, build and maintain efficient and reliable products.

  • Review, test and verify code for adherence to quality and security standards.

  • Ensure the best possible performance and responsibleness of the applications.

  • Assist in the maintenance of code quality and organization.

  • Work with the development team to define and implement architecture direction.

  • Assist with the design and enforce test-driven development using automated unit and integration testing. 


What we need from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience and technical training

  • 3 years of experience analyzing, designing and implementing solutions using Node.js.

  • 3 years of experience developing in and for deployment in the AWS environment preferred.

  • Experience in React, JSP, HTML, Tag Libraries or JavaScript.

  • 3 years of experience writing JUnit tests or like technologies (such as Mocha)

  • 3 years of experience using Eclipse, Netbeans or any other related IDEs

  • Secure software development experience, conducting code reviews, Web Services (SOAP or REST)

  • Experience in the design and development of complex Web System and high-availability online transaction processing

  • Experience with defining and enforcing coding standards

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
