Arcosa, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Technical Accounting and Reporting to join our Corporate Accounting team in our Dallas, TX Headquarters office.

What you will do:

  • Prepare and oversee the approval process for SEC filings including executive and committee endorsements

  • Perform technical accounting research including drafting of whitepapers for complex business transactions and working with external auditors to facilitate alignment

  • Advise and assist business unit accounting personnel on complex accounting transactions

  • Develop and implement accounting business processes and control activities

  • Assist with benefits accounting, including stock based compensation and medical accruals

  • Coordinate and manage the technical accounting for acquisition and divestiture projects

  • Conduct annual impairment analyses including goodwill

  • Complete month end and quarter end reporting requirements

  • Support external auditors as needed

  • Ad hoc projects and other duties as required


What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related subject

  • Current CPA license

  • 5+ years of accounting experience

  • Large public accounting experience

  • Excellent collaboration, communication and technical writing skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • SEC reporting and accounting research experience is highly desired
