Job Summary                      

The Instructor Trainer is responsible for enhancing the competencies of instructors by coordinating, designing, conducting, and assessing training programs that will boost and enhance new and current instructors’ knowledge and expertise that relates to the MyComputerCareer culture, mission, and core values. They will be responsible for assessing, designing, and delivering continuing education training programs for the MyComputerCareer Education department.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities


  • Train qualified Instructors.

  • Perform the first-week on-board training for new instructors.

  • Manage ongoing training for new instructors in coordination with the Executive Director of Education, Directors of Education and Curriculum Development Specialist.

  • Build and provide annual and specialty training programs.

  • Perform Instructor observations in a timely fashion and ensure that they are reviewed by providing feedback and coaching and recorded with the Human Resources Department.

  • Identify training needs by evaluating Instructors’ strengths, weaknesses, and future goals within the organization.

  • Responsible for ensuring Instructors needs are met related to curriculum and training in coordination with the Directors of Education and Curriculum Development Specialist.

  • Manage and develop continuing education for Instructors when they arrive on campus to ensure they are adequately prepared to teach and coach students to success

  • Provide motivational leadership to an amazing team, focusing on respect, and setting an example by displaying our core values.


  • Assist the Executive Director of Education and oversee compliance to ensure regulations and requirements for all regulatory bodies are always being maintained for the education department.

  •   Cultivate a team culture by sharing excitement and passion for our mission of changing student lives.

Qualifications


  • A minimum of 3 years of in-class teaching or training experience in a formal educational setting is preferred.

  • A minimum of 3 years practical work experience in the IT industry (within the last ten years) is preferred.

  • A minimum of 2 years team management or supervisory experience preferred

  • Candidates with a different combination of instructional and technical training experience and practical work experience will be considered.

  • Pro-active and organized.

  • Pay consistent attention to detail.

  • Ability to think outside the box.

  • Travel Expectancy: 50%+
