Job Description:

LinQuest is seeking a Launch Systems Engineering & Integration Lead to join our team at Cape Canaveral, Florida.



To work on the systems engineering and integration (SE&I) contract in support of the US Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC), Launch Enterprise Systems Directorate (SMC/LE). This effort includes overarching integration of launch and range programs which will require interfacing with both the EELV and any future SMC/LE launch systems.

SMC/LE's mission also includes mission assurance and launch safety.



The position is full time on-site at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS) and requires an active TS/SCI clearance. You will work onsite, co-located and closely integrated with the Government Customer.



Responsibilities:

Provide launch site activity mission assurance related inputs to the 5th Space Launch Squadron Commander (5 SLS/CC) on EELV launch site activities
Provide system integration for launch-flow processing, including range and range systems for heritage and EELV programs
Provide initial and periodic updates to the Master Mission Checklist
Review of drafts for Integrated Mission Script for each major console op
Provide technical evaluations and recommendations to the 5 SLS in support of Pre-Vehicle Activity Report (VAR), VAR and Operational Status Briefings
Provide technical evaluations, assessments and updates, and recommendations during launch campaign planning meetings, mission working groups, readiness reviews and 5 SLS technical forums
Identify issues/risks to the Launch Mission Manager (LMM) and make resolution recommendations.
Provide mission processing status updates
Evaluate, assess and provide status of LSP processing activities and problem resolution
Provide summary processing schedules and information for 5 SLS status products
Provide assessment on payload integration requirements, ability of the LVC and Range to meet payload requirements, and assist in identifying risks/issues to the EELV LMM and 5 SLS
Gather data and assist in technical information flow between NRO and mission managers
Provide technical products for on-console EELV launch/processing operations, rehearsals, and East Coast shadow operations in support of EELV launches
Deliver and update an archive of launch campaign products and provide technical training on mission management processes to the Government mission team members
