The University of Kentucky is seeking an Administrative Research Assistant Principal for the Kentucky Department of Corrections Criminal Justice Kentucky Treatment Outcome Study (CJKTOS) and the NIH funded Justice Community Opioid Innovation Network (JCOIN). This grant has a long-term goal of increasing the capacity for the justice system to respond to the opioid crisis through increased access to treatment to reduce opioid relapse and overdose. The Administrative Research Assistant Principal will be based in Elizabethtown, Kentucky and be responsible for overseeing the coordination and management of data including data quality assurance and compliance with the national standards.
Additional responsibilities that the Administrative Research Assistant Principal will have include:
• Coordinates, processes, documents, and tracks all efforts with study participants.
• Conducts interviews with study participants asking about sensitive topics such as mental health, criminal history, and substance use.
• Ensures all project coordination such as ordering supplies, processing payment for research subjects, coordinating hiring efforts.
• Enters, analyzes, monitors, and ensures quality for all research data collected.
• Compile data for weekly, monthly and quarterly progress reports.
• Effectively communicating information to all essential stakeholders including scientific leads and project leaders.
This position will be located in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
|Skills / Knowledge / Abilities||
Research experience including collection and management of data/data quality assurance and compliance, as well as coordination of study participants. Candidates must possess strong project and data management skill sets, MS Windows, SPSS, Access, have excellent collaboration, communication (oral & written), and initiative as well as a high level of integrity and a strong work ethic.
