Job Description:
The Business Unit Finance Manager will work as part of a team responsible for

GLOBALFOUNDRIES strategic financial plan. The candidate will work across the organization

to understand key business issues and devise actionable strategic recommendations with

corroborating financial analysis.

Specific Responsibilities

ï,• Manage the corporate financial model by collecting, assembling and challenging inputs.

ï,• Provide recommendations to senior management and the board of directors by assessing

the financial impact of key business decisions, including plant/product roadmaps, capital

allocation, cost/pricing initiatives, and others.

ï,• Maintain complex financial models used for profitability analysis and cash flow planning.

ï,• Monitor financial performance by analyzing and reporting on variances from plan.

ï,• Conduct significant ad-hoc analysis to ensure the best corporate decisions are made to

achieve operational and financial objectives.

ï,• Increase productivity by working with internal partners to develop repeatable business

processes.

ï,• Develop and maintain strong relationships with product management and site finance

teams.

ï,• Frequently work directly with senior executives.



Qualifications
Required Qualifications

ï,• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, statistics, or related field.

ï,• MBA strongly preferred.

ï,• Minimum 10 years in roles covering corporate financial planning, strategic finance,

investment banking or management consulting.

ï,• Demonstrated expertise in corporate financial modeling and financial analysis with keen

attention to detail.

ï,• Strong communication skills with ability to interact with and influence at all levels of the

organization.

ï,• Demonstrated expertise in creating presentation material for senior management reviews.

ï,• Strong understanding of the technology industry is preferred.

ï,• Self-motivated and independent with strong analytical and problem solving skills.

ï,• Team-based leadership skills; ability to work across global locations in matrix role, and build

effective cross-functional relationships at multiple levels.
