Job Description:

At Belcampo, our purpose is revolutionizing meat for the wellbeing of people, planet, and animals. And we are seeking a Front of House (FOH) Manager at our exciting Oakland location at Jack London Square. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer and Compadre (employee) focused leader with at least two years of restaurant/hospitality management experience.

As a Front of House Manager, you will be instrumental in working with the GM, AGM, and other FOH managers, and the Kitchen Leadership team to deliver an exceptional customer experience while inspiring and leading Front of House (FOH) Compadres to drive the daily operations of the full service and quick service restaurants.

  • Minimum two years of restaurant management experience in a high volume, fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to learn and train others on all aspects of Belcampo Meat Co. operations including our customer steps of service, menu knowledge and food safety handling.

  • Must be able to maintain a culture of clear accountability by supporting, coaching and developing Compadres.

  • Excellent organizational, task-management, leadership, creativity, verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

  • Computer skills and proficiency in using Microsoft Office, G Suite, HRIS, POS, and Windows and/or MacOS.

What you’ll mostly do:


  • Engage as many guests and customers as possible. Assure the highest level of guest service including mitigating guest concerns to positive resolution.

  • Assist with key support functions including hourly Compadres, scheduling and food safety compliance and training.

  • Participate in the selection and hiring process of FOH Compadres including supervising on-the-job training activities for all FOH positions.

  • Consistently engage customers and guests to achieve the highest level of satisfaction possible.

  • Assist in maintaining both the full service and quick serve restaurants while upholding our high standards.

  • Help in resolving Compadre relations issues and concerns.

You’ll likely do some of this:


  • Must be able to sit, stand, reach with arms and hands, bend and stoop, kneel and crouch more than 90% of the time.

  • Lifting requirements range from 10 to 25 lbs. typically no more than 20% of the time.
