Now Hiring for a Full Time Personal Trainer and Wellness Coach in our East Greenbush Location!

Our personal trainers provide excellent customer service through guiding, supporting and motivating our members with in-depth personal wellness training, testing, and exercise prescription. As a Personal Trainer, you will interact with new and existing members to help them in achieving their health and well-being goals.


  • Current CPR and national certification (ACE, NETA, AFAA, and NASM) in Personal Training instruction OR YMCA Foundations of Strength and Conditioning certification required.

  • YMCA Healthy Lifestyles certification within 60 days of hire.


  • 1 year(s): Experience working in the wellness field.
  • 1 year(s): Experience teaching group wellness classes.



  • Bachelors or better in Sport Management

  • Bachelors or better in Physical Education Teacher Education
