Edelman has an opening in the Portland office for an Assistant Account Executive (AAE), focused on Analyst Relations (AR) within the PNW technology practice. We are seeking an AAE to join our growing team of talented and collaborative communications professionals who provide a diverse client base with expert counsel in analyst relations, communications & event planning, content development, and influencer engagement. The AR AAE will gain a strong understanding in all areas of analyst relations and begin to build and maintain professional relationships with industry analyst contacts.
Demonstrate the ability to manage up, as well as manage across with peers and account team members
Anticipate client needs and act accordingly to provide superior client service
Support in the management of planning and execution of the account's analyst relations programs, including organizing work streams and helping to coordinate analyst outreach, scheduling tours and staffing briefings, developing regular client reports, as well as other day-to-day general account management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry analysts as well as internal stakeholders and clients
Gather, distill, and share insights gleaned from collecting feedback from analyst coverage, industry conferences and analyst comments
Demonstrate the ability to write, edit and proofread to create high quality internal and external, channel-appropriate communications content
Communicate effectively with team members
Manage multiple projects from concept to completion by anticipating challenges, troubleshooting problems, proposing solutions, and ensuring deadline and budget adherence
Participate in cross-practice and cross-geographical teams to provide clients and prospects with the most compelling team and proposal

The AAE should have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, excellent organization skills, and the ability to adapt to change and meet deadlines. S/he must have a strong work ethic and dedication to consistently provide quality work. Previous internship experience is preferred.
