Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Corporate Recruiter to work onsite at our Build.com business located in Chico, CA.
The Corporate Recruiter will focus on hiring for numerous roles varying in seniority across Ferguson and its various business groups and functions. This person will build trust-based relationships with hiring managers to be seen as a true recruiting business partner and talent acquisition advisor. The person will also heavily engage with candidates, introducing them to Ferguson, facilitating the recruiting lifecycle and assisting in offer and pre-hire activities. introduction to Ferguson to offer/onboarding stage.
The main responsibilities will fall into two areas - developing talent development strategies to place the right person in the right role efficiently and effectively and planning, coordinating, and driving hiring activities from start to finish.
Apply creativity in building sourcing strategies and partnerships that facilitate interest in Ferguson and the role, including building a strong pipeline of qualified candidates
Execute administrative tasks in an organized fashion, with strong attention to detail and follow up skills – managing the process in Workday, candidate screening, communication with candidates etc
Build strong, credible, effective relationships with hiring managers, internal associates and external candidates, that bring value to the recruitment process
Provide guidance and leadership to hiring managers on interviewing, identifying talent, labor market challenges, maximizing candidate pipeline and candidate follow up importance
Advise managers along with the Compensation Dept on compensation benchmarking for external candidates for offers
Communicate proactively with all stakeholders to coordinate interview feedback and lead effective decision-making sessions
Drive the focus on the candidate experience to ensure our candidates are treated with the highest standards of customer service, integrity and professionalism
Stay abreast of and identify trends for continued transformation of talent development
Lead hiring decisions, effectively negotiating and closing offers
Actively manage concerns and work across business to problem solve recruiting challenges
Strong interest in recruiting and passion around talent and HR a must
Quick ability to learn about business groups and their various business needs
5+ Years experience in full lifecycle recruiting in a corporate or agency setting.
Strong ability to source creatively and engage and attract passive candidates
Bachelor's degree preferred
An ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, driving productivity and continuous improvement
High energy person who can exude confidence, work independently and contribute to the team goals
Excellent influencing, problem-solving and negotiation skills
Technically savvy with a proven ability to learn Applicant Tracking Systems and associated recruiting business processes quickly -- Workday experience highly preferred.
Highly organized with strong administrative skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize work
Strong ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing a must
Strong presentation skills to a wide variety of audiences
Ability to travel (up to 15%)
