Summary of Position:Focus: Stainless and Aluminum productsCreates a profitable environment by negotiating, maintaining and executing orders with global suppliers and customers. Grow and maintain existing customer base. Filter and qualify suppliers based on customer requirements and expectations. Interprets business culture across borders and builds a strong network of global suppliers and customers.Key Accountabilities: • Determines if product standards meet customer specifications• Arranges, contracts and executes orders with suppliers and customers• Negotiates the logistics and financing with suppliers in foreign countries for purpose of selling their products in North America.• Maintains orders and settles customer and supplier disputes as they arise• Builds a strong network of global relationships with customers and suppliers for the purpose of making a positive GP contribution to the North American team• Contributes to an environment of open communication with all employees in the region• Contributes to an environment that promotes ongoing improvement for all products and processes• Ensures operations conforms with all legal, federal and import regulations• Meets tkMNA Employee Attributes/CompetenciesThe above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job.
