Field Technician is responsible for providing work leadership, guidance and training to a group of technicians within a specific area.
The candidate’s responsibilities include: diagnosing network problems in the field, solves complex work related problems, coordinate and review work assignments, address and resolve complex and/or escalated customer issues to the point of customer satisfaction, make recommendations regarding personnel development and departmental policies and procedures, conduct quality control inspections at customer locations.
Experience with installation and commissioning of Nokia Airscale BBUs.
Experience with card/module installs for carrier adds, 5G integration, etc.
Experience with SFP installs or swaps in BBUs, CSRs, etc.
Experience working with RITC or other remote GDC teams on C&I.
Experience with mMIMO desired.
Nokia training and PTID desired.
DC power and fiber cabling installation, management/stitching, and testing.
Fiber scoping and cleaning experience desired.
Current OSHA 10, CPR, and RF Awareness training and certificates a plus.
Ground Civils a plus, e.g. rack installs, RRHs, diplexers, etc.
Sweep and PIM testing a plus.
Additional Position Requirements:
A background investigation and drug test is required.
