Job Description:

RH2 is currently seeking a Controller for our Bothell, WA location. The Controller will be an integral part of the organization and will play a key role in providing outstanding accounting and financial support for the company. Day to day, the Controller is responsible for managing accounts receivable, monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, consolidation, and reporting.

This role will provide support to the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager and other operational leaders as needed. Responsibilities


  • Manage all aspects of accounting including financial statements, general ledger, payroll and project accounting, budgeting, revenue recognition, and conduct special analyses   

  • Calculate and submit B&O taxes and post monthly journal entries

  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements including YTD balance sheet and profit & loss statements

  • Oversee accounts payables and receivables, process bi-weekly payroll, administer employee HSA and 401(k) accounts, and ensure company is compliant with all local, state, and federal laws

  • Maintain documented system of accounting policies and operations and provide ongoing training to staff

  • Support the FP&A Manager for preparing quarterly and annual budgets and forecasts as well as ad-hoc reporting for financial analyses and decision making

  • Organize information and statements for internal and external auditors for audits

Requirements and Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance plus 7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience required; CPA/ CMA preferred; Project Accounting experience preferred

  • 2+ years’ experience using Deltek Vision preferred

  • Thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting practices (GAAP) with the ability to research non-standard transactions

  • Comprehensive understanding of A/R and A/P processes and practices

  • Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage journal entries and financial records

  • Advanced MS Excel skills required, including pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.

  • Strong work ethic with ability to manage a large volume of accounting projects and meet deadlines

  • Superb verbal and written communication skills with quick responsiveness to requests and questions

  • Excellent project management skills with a focus on organization, accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively under tight time constraints
