We are seeking a Manager of Analysis to join the team! Experienced Managers as well as Senior Analysts with leadership experience that are looking to advance to the next level are encouraged to apply!  


The position provides analytical support to our Packaging and Cellulose Business, and is located at our Fluff Pulp Mill in Brunswick, GA. Located along the southeastern coastline of Georgia, Brunswick is the major economic and urban center in southeastern Georgia. It is second largest urban area on Georgia’s coast, mixing historical sites with various shopping, entertainment and dining experiences. Brunswick is just 30 miles from Florida, and 70 miles from South Carolina. You will be a member of a strong financial team and will report directly to the Financial Planning and Analysis Lead. In addition to completing facility cost analysis, you will perform benchmarking analysis, identification of value creation opportunities, and economic modeling for projects, among other items


A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

The Senior Manager / Manager of Analysis role creates value by supplying expertise in economic and critical thinking in order to make sound business decisions.  Success here requires the application of financial models, ability to perform valuation analysis, marginal analyses, identification of opportunities, and determining key variables that help to drive the business performance.  The ideal candidate must have the ability to work autonomously or in team settings and possess a strong analytical background.  Our work environment is fast paced with a focus on innovation and change therefore the ideal candidate will need to possess a high degree of creativity and resourcefulness.  This role will also work collaboratively with its peers to identify and capture value across the Containerboard and Cellulose Mill system. 


  • Promote an environment of effective partnering with operations and business management to maximize value creation and enhance decision making

  • Identify and drive process improvement opportunities, develop and execute action plans

  • Provide decision support and analysis on new investment and cost reduction proposals

  • Analyzing actual manufacturing cost; comparing standard costs to actual

  • Studying changes in raw material usage, inventory, labor, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost; collecting, validating, and analyzing product cost data

  • Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services

  • Partnering with peer facilities to drive standardization across the system and to share knowledge base

  • Think like the decision maker, be inquisitive, and push boundaries while demonstrating humility 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities needed to be successful in the role:

What You Will Need:



  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business; earned with a GPA of 3.0 or higher

Basic Qualifications: 

  • At least 5 years of experience in a Finance, Accounting, Strategy or Cost Analysis role

  • Demonstrated understanding of key principles of Cost Accounting

  • Experience developing financial models, scorecards, and key metrics  

  • Prior experience performing analysis and relaying insights and recommendations to business leaders

  • Experience with integrated financial systems, complex accounting systems, database structure

  • Advanced MS Excel proficiency; including creation/editing, charts, pivot tables, lookups, formula creation and working with macros



What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Finance/Operations Accounting experience in a manufacturing organization

  • Cost accounting, Product costing, KPI/Metric development/tracking experience

  • Marginal and incremental cost/profit analysis experience

  • Experience with business analysis and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, VBA)

  • Ability to mine and convert data into meaningful information through leveraging software and other state-of-the-art tools.

  • Experience with manufacturing information tag systems such as PI
