Assist in day to day accounting within the organization including preparation of financial analysis, journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly financial close.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Maintain production reports and analysis to partner with operations to drive cost and process improvements
Creation and distribution of operational reporting
Value Stream Reporting; Create and distribute value stream financial statements and operational analytics
Financial Presentation Optimization
Leverage reporting tools to optimize existing financial reporting and introduce new financial presentation platforms into the operation on an ad hoc basis
Assist in preparation of monthly forecast and analyzing actual results versus previous forecasts
General Accounting and Financial Reporting
Assist in monthly and annual financial close
Assist in review of budget to actual manufacturing department expenses and forecasting future months
GL coding for invoice processing
Maintenance of goods receipt aging report
Fixed Asset Management
Maintenance of fixed asset module, including adding and removing PP&E assets as needed
Regular and predictable on-site attendance
Compile cost information to be used in operating budget preparation
Perform other related duties as required to meet the goals and objectives of the company and the Finance Department
