Indorama Integrated Oxides & Derivatives is currently looking for a dynamic individual to work as an Environmental Team Leader - Compliance Programs located at our Port Neches, Texas facility. In this role, you will ensure compliance with multidisciplined regulatory programs for air, waste and waste-water across all operational units within the Port Neches Operations (PNO) facility. Daily management of direct reports assigned to specific process units and/or regulatory programs. Provide interpretation of new state and federal regulations as it applies to the facility air, waste and waste-water programs. Oversight of the site Emissions Inventory and Green House Gas report development. Manage the Environmental Management Systems (EMS) including written programs, data management and software solutions.

What will be expected from you
  • Conduct business in accordance with the Responsible Care Management System and the Business Management Systems for areas of responsibility.
  • Ensure practices are consistent with processes and procedures as established in the Management Systems for the plant and the Environmental Department.
  • Ensure Environmental decisions, interpretations, notifications and reports are in agreement, well documented and consistent in format.
  • Understand and utilize defined internal and external resources and information and regulations, laws, permits, etc., that impact areas of responsibility.
  • Attend pertinent management system meetings and comply with the terms of reference
  • Address all issues with a systematic approach
  • Ensure priorities and goals are set and executed for the environmental areas of responsibility
  • Accountable and responsible for ensuring that all activities within areas of responsibility are in full compliance with all applicable environmental regulations, policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Lead functional team meetings and cross-functional teams
  • Participate in unit meetings
  • Interface with business level Environmental staff and regulatory authorities
  • Develop performance development plans and reviews for direct reports in accordance with company guidelines and expectations.

  • Agency Responses/Audits
  • Development, implementation, maintenance of environmental management system and software solutions
  • Oversee data analytics and KPI compilation

What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?
  • Bachelor degree in Environmental Science or related field and 10 plus years of experience required.
  • Experience with Title V Program, Emissions Inventory, RCRA, HON, NESHAP FF
  • Experience with Responsible Care, ISO 14001, RC 14001 or similar certification management system
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience
  • Experience with TCEQ Regulatory Databases preferred
  • Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC card
