Make a bigger difference


The Social Worker is responsible for supplying necessary clinical intervention within the realm of the program. Provide cultural competent and sensitive services.

KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (List the functions that are essential to achieve the goals):

  • Short and long-term treatment of adults and children at base clinic.
  • Working off -site in Yeshiva school settings providing treatment and consultation.
  • Crisis intervention when indicated as part of the treatment.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, e.g. progress notes, assessments and treatment plans, statistics, and other documentation as required by JBFCS and other governmental licensing and funding entities.
  • Other duties assigned.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS MAY INCLUDE (List additional functions needed to reach goals):

EDUCATIONAL / TRAINING REQUIRED (List all that is required to achieve this position):

  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), with a minimum of one year of relevant experience with similar population.
  • Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification is required.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED / LANGUAGE PREFERENCE (List what the desire to reach goals):

Hebrew a plus but not required.

Must have familiarity and knowledge of Orthodox Jewish Community
