Overview

Group O has an immediate need for a Social Media Analyst to join its growing team! This position is primarily responsible for formulating and executing strategic digital marketing/social media programs to drive social business. We expect this candidate to be a Social Media Strategist that will process and analyze social media information data for reports and dashboards using tools such as; Radian6 and Sprinklr. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and drive themselves to figure out how to speak to marketing people and help them understand the why's, do's/don't in the social media space, so the right decisions are made. This candidate will be the SME in turning current data, into useful information.

Responsibilities

We want the candidate to make our social media presentations more effective and efficient and have the ability to translate technical information into Marketing terms. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Engage with customer in social media and implement strategic digital marketing programs
  • Develop and integrate analytics best practices for audience tracking
  • Drive user interaction and dialogue through social media platforms
  • Expert knowledge of Excel, working with and creating Dashboards for social media medians including but not limited to Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, MailChimp, Google Plus, Instagram, Snapchat, Tumbler, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, TweetDeck, Radian6 and Sprinklr

  • Partner with senior business leaders within Marketing and their teams to deeply understand strategic and tactical business objectives within a social media environment
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and engagement with appropriate client contacts and managers to ensure that proper information technology needs are met
  • Detail oriented in all aspects of the job
  • Highly organized
  • Business Acumen: possesses a refined and mature ability to work with and understand business needs via conversation and interaction with all levels within the company including:
    • Expresses ideas in a concise and organized manner
    • Be customer-oriented, focused, and a team player

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
