The Thorne-Rider Campus Center (TRCC) Building Managers oversee the use and care of building equipment, furnishings, and facilities after regular business hours and on weekends. This includes oversight of activities, schedules, event setups, equipment functions, and general building security. They will also help provide a welcome and friendly environment to students, faculty, staff and visitors to the Thorne-Rider Campus Center.Reports ToLarissa BonnetEducation/Qualifications

Good Conduct and Academic Standing with the college
Sheridan College Student currently enrolled
Cumulative GPA is 2.0 or greaterKnowledge, Skills & Abilities

Excels with Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication
Knowledgeable with Microsoft Word and Excel
Willingness to learn and adapt to a constantly changing work environmentWorking Conditions/Physical Requirements

Will have to work late and weekends

Regular rounds of the building to ensure cleanliness and security
Provide Daily Counts
Responsible for securing and/or opening of the building.
Must be able to problem solve and think quickly on their feet.
Address inappropriate behavior by individuals or groups within and surrounding the building
Oversee the TRCC Front Desk Staff while on shift
Ensure weekly advertising of events is completed
Maintain a clean and organized working environment around the TRCC Front Desk
Restock resources when they are our or request more resources when necessarySupplemental Questions
