Summary of This Role
Manages the implementations and conversions of detailed information technology solutions in the payment card industry. Manages teams who lead and/or execute implementation and conversion projects supporting the company-client relationship, ensuring customer satisfaction. Manages client engagement, scope development, budget analysis, labor planning, and coordination of activities between client and team members. Ensures monitoring of project completion from initiation through delivery to meet revenue and cost projections. Oversees performance of the installation and client acceptance of capitalized equipment, enterprise software systems, related product development, and/or related system implementation and conversion projects. Serves as mediator to internal and client issues and conflicting priorities for members of cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of company solutions to clients. May be responsible for new client training and documentation associated with implementations and conversions.
Job Specific Location & Travel Requirements
The position is open to work remotely from any city in the United States. Travel is required with this role as you could be frequently on site with our clients. Travel could include International destinations for periods of time. Candidates must be able to travel 20-30% as the norm, but there may be short bursts of spending 2 weeks onsite, not frequent.
What Part Will You Play?
Provides guidance on activities required to support a product launch, conversion, or deconversion, including but not limited to testing and validation of code requirements, bank control option selection process and conversion data validation. Ensures user acceptance testing and first occurrence verification is completed. Works with the Implementations teams and vendors to set work priorities between the functional teams for each implementation. Ensures that industry and product information is disseminated to the team. Performs root cause analysis, identifies, documents, and implements process improvements. Collaborates with internal/external clients to recommend best practices when supporting issue resolution.
Assists with the data mapping by performing detailed analysis. Ensures compliance standards are met. Conditions data for testing and manages and performs data validation.
Leads day to day execution of client initiated project requests for new and existing clients. Drives capacity and resource assignment for project requests based on requirements, timelines, and team member experience. Identifies the product scope, client requirements and overall project plans for each client. Forecasts capacity planning by monitoring overall number of projects or tasks to keep on schedule and adjust resource allocation as necessary. Identifies additional resources or training needs and requests. Monitors regular status meetings or reporting throughout the project lifecycle to ensure projects and problems are being completed on schedule and with quality. Performs root cause analysis, identifies, documents, and implements process improvements.
Engages with team members and leverage existing methodology to implement client maintenance, project requests, system enhancements, and resolve issues. Participates in Due Diligence and Discovery for converting clients. Serves as client consultant during sales and request for proposals by participating in Sales presentations through on-site meetings or via conference calls. Consults with new and existing clients on client enablement, product functionality, data files and certifications. Ensures regular reporting is provided to the client on status of products or projects, work requests, and process improvements. Participates in client meetings and company sponsored forums. Available 24X7 to ensure client experience and issue resolution is timely driving high client satisfaction.
Negotiates with stakeholders to determine scope of work activities which advance the company's business objectives and client need. Provides guidance and support through the discovery process of a product launch or account conversion. Participates in the analysis and assessment of client requirements, session overviews and potential product solutions.
Monitors and assesses domestic and international compliance regulations to consult and provide recommendations. Stays abreast of new system development and modifications, assess project change requests, ensure proper application of work plan, issue management and escalation.
Executes the risk mitigation plans for any negative customer and financial impact via specialized practices and processes. Interprets moderately complex problems involving multiple systems and processes and solves them through recommended deviations from established procedures. Determines the product scope, client requirements and overall project plans for each client. Assists in the planning annual budget for cost center to include employment expense, client travel, and tools and resources needed to maintain high level of client service. Identifies potential strategic development of new products and services to increase company revenue, productivity, product strength, or reduce risk.

Relevant Experience or Degree in: related field of study from an accredited university is required; however, relevant experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
Typically a minimum of 8 years
related professional experience including a minimum of 3-4 years experience in a supervisory position.
