Job Description:


The Recruiter position is responsible to successfully find outstanding candidates, both active and passive, and fill critical positions for the company, with a strong focus on the high-volume call center positions for our CaptionCall business. The Recruiter ensures that multi-state staffing requirements are met to source, identify, attract and onboard top talent to efficiently and effectively meet dynamic business needs. The role utilizes creative and proven methods of identifying candidates and works to fill roles in a timely manner to meet business needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Collaborate with Regional Directors and Center Directors to identify sourcing requirements and develop strategies to identify talent for multiple captioning centers

* Responsible for sourcing, marketing, help during the interview process, confirming candidates for interviews and for start dates in captioning centers

* Ensure the centers are active in the community, attend job fairs, identify new sources to drive applicants and have appropriate staffing at recruiting events

* Identify potential candidates through networking, web sourcing, social media, leveraging referrals and identifying other creative ways to fill the candidate pipeline

* Review, track and disposition candidates

* Maintain data and key recruiting metrics on each open position

* Provide hiring managers with market information for each center and region, data to show trends, and forecast hiring to meet roster need

* Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting

* Participate in training and professional development for managers

* Coordinate and implement multi-state recruiting initiatives

* Serve as a resource to applicants regarding employment opportunities

* Review recruiting procedures and work as part of a team to recommend process improvements, cost savings and customer service initiatives

* Performs other related duties as required and assigned

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to interact in a cooperative and professional manner with team members as well as internal and external employees to deliver quality customer service and maintain valuable partnerships

* Strong understanding of best in class sourcing channels and processes

* Ability to effectively communicate in English with strong verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and goals

* Strong sense of ownership, attention to details, and organizational skills

* Able to work independently and with a team as required

* Strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills

* Strong computer skills including Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

* Bachelor's degree, or equivalent in a related field preferred

* Previous experience in sourcing and recruiting of talent

* 1-3 years high volume call center experience

Other General Requirements/Additional Notes

* Ability to sit and/or stand at a desk and work with a computer for extended periods of time.

* Positive attitude, team player, good interpersonal communication skills and able to work across company departments

* Some travel is required

* This position will have access to highly confidential, sensitive information relating to the employees of Sorenson and CaptionCall. It is essential this individual possess the requisite integrity to maintain the information in strictest confidence
