SUMMARY Position Summary
* In addition to performing PSR functions, the incumbent assists the manager with day-to-day routine management issues, such as staff scheduling, and ensures communication of policies and procedures are communicated to the rest of the staff. Acts as a liaison and communicates issues and/or concerns of the staff to the manager. The incumbent is required to conduct all job responsibilities consistent with Southern Maine Health Care policies, procedures, and in compliance with all applicable laws or mandates relating to patient care and business activities.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
* Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. Associates degree preferred.
* License/Certifications: N/A
* Experience: Two plus years' prior experience in medical practice setting with full understanding of physician billing and reimbursement.
