  • Experience working on central coolant systems and standalone machine sumps in a large manufacturing environment

    • Ability to control coolant concentration / record essential metrics

    • Familiarity with large centrifuge operation

    • Exposure to DI water tanks, coalescers, chip blasters, filtration and other machine add-ons is preferred

  • Strong troubleshooting skills

    • Ideal candidate can identify problems quickly and advise on corrective actions/preventative measures

    • Continuous improvement/Cost savings projects

  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required. The candidate is expected to:

    • Develop a strong rapport with machine operators to gain valuable insight into coolant and lube related issues

      report weekly to coolant management team and provide status updates on issues/projects

      train operators and maintenance team on best practices & SOP

  • Reporting and Testing

    • Proficient in computer skills to record and provide reporting on coolant metrics and lubes as needed and required

      Capable of performing necessary testing and reporting of coolant and lubes as required

  • Training

    • Provide training and updates relative to coolant and lube management to operators and site managers as needed or required



  • Bachelor or Associate degree in related field is desired

  • Kanban

    • Understanding of min/max and reordering levels for notification to customer

  • Experience

    • At least 4 years of experience as a coolant manager in a large manufacturing setting
