Job Description:

Overview

Responsible for collaborating with assigned process owners, business unit(s) and/or product group(s) to identify and recommend process change opportunities in support of business objectives and goals.
Align investments in process design and enabling technology to achieve targeted returns on these investments. Implement strategic business process design and improvement initiatives; provide project planning and develop related operational policies and procedures. Provide tactical support for cross-functional project teams. Design processes supporting new products and/or services.
Qualifications
- Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Two (2) years of additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Four (4) years of experience in Project Management, to include experience in scrum, process design and/or improvement required.
- Experience in various core business processes or comparable experience implementing and supporting information systems for relevant business area preferred.
- Six Sigma Yellow Belt and PMI Certification a plus.
- Demonstrated and proven understanding of project management tools and methodologies (Project Life-Cycle, etc.).
- Ability to understand business problems and apply cost effective solutions. Utilize or learn problem/symptom reduction techniques to isolate requirements and value-added solutions.
- Demonstrated leadership ability.
- Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills required.
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers at all levels.

Key Accountabilities
Understanding the Business
- Understand the business and its \\"Value Proposition\\".
- Understand the requirements/needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders across the business.
- Proactively identify and define business process opportunities that support
- business strategies, goals, and objectives.
- Exploit enabling technology to drive business strategies.
- Translate business requirements into business process and functional outcomes (impact).
- Program/Project Management:
- Manage projects, of varying scope, to model/map, improve and/or redesign business processes
- Plan, develop, implement and coordinate IS or Business projects/programs, typically business-critical and large in scope.
- Develop and/or facilitate business case development for project initiatives and enhancements.
- Monitor and direct project activities to ensure that policies and procedures are being followed, that goals and objectives are met, and that services and projects are being implemented efficiently and effectively; take corrective action as necessary.
- Promote horizontal and vertical communications between project teams and the rest of the organization; Assist with team and organization interfaces.
- Help to ensure that the project/enhancement delivers the anticipated benefits
- Monitor and stay abreast of technical and operational changes that affect the activities and work processes of the program. Leverage current technology.
- Participate on project teams to improve and/or redesign business processes, extend existing system modules to new sites, implement new system modules.
- Ability to translate business requirements into process focused solutions using enabling technology where appropriate.

Relationship Management
- Foster strong customer relations within areas of responsibility and ensure alignment with business process leaders.
- Support the identification and prioritization of process improvement/redesign opportunities across the enterprise in support of strategic business goals and objectives. Maintain expert knowledge in respective business/process/technology areas
- Define and document customer requirements. Clearly communicate detailed requirements to Information Systems associates and suppliers. Ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
- Effectively communicate (via writing, speaking and presentation) with all levels of associates within the corporation; Ability to adapt communication to target audience, including senior level leadership within the organization.
- Facilitate the escalation and resolution of system issues.
- Ensure projects and processes operate within established performance thresholds.
- Business Process Management:
- Promote and champion the concept of Business Process Management.
- Maintain fluency in business processes - standardization, enhancement and redesign.
- Document and redesign business processes as appropriate. Facilitate process change.
- Identify & analyze business requirements - ability to transpose and relate requirements to business processes.
- Define relevant performance metrics for core business processes and facilitate continuous improvement in business processes.
- Facilitate continuous improvement in business processes.
- Work with business owners leadership to develop and monitor business process opportunities to drive improvements and reduce costs.
- Map business processes using appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Manage a central \\"living\\" repository for business processes; facilitate and promote a process-centric culture; Ensure integrity of process model/map documentation.
- Experience with Lombardi Blueprint and Teamworks BPM software for process modeling and process automation.
