GPS Manufacturer/Distributor

We are looking for a full-time Business Intelligence Developer  for our headquarters in Olathe, Kansas. In this role, you will design and develop complex multi-system applications and drive collaboration with others to ensure effective project completion.  You will work collaboratively to develop and implement unit and system testing processes. Other essential functions include:

   Work with Project Managers and users to understand business objectives in order to satisfy report and data warehouse design requirements

  
  


• 
  

   Interact with ERP and Web development teams to understand the source data

  
  


• 
  

   Architect and design data warehouse structures for global usage and 24/7 availability

  
  


• 
  

   Use Informatica, SQL, PL/SQL and data warehouse toolkits to develop ETL

  
  


• 
  

   Develop and perform unit testing

  
  


• 
  

   Migrate ETL artifacts between environments and perform deployments

  
  


• 
  

   Work with internal users to enhance performance and ensure data of ETL and reports

  
  


• 
  

   Design, develop, and test reports using QlikSense reporting tools

  
  


• 
  

   Incorporate appropriate data security throughout all development efforts

  
  


• 
  

   Develop reliable solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creatively

  
  


•

Qualified candidates possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business or another relevant field AND a minimum of 5 years relevant experience. OR a combination of years of experience. Other requirements include:

  Demonstrated experience in successful implementation of technology solutions

  
  


• 
  

  Must have proven and solid experience with Informatica- be an expert

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to drive projects to an effective and timely completion 

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with QlikSense reporting suite, is ideal 

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a large team or departmental setting 

  
  


• 
  

  Superior academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.5 as a general rule) 

  
  


• 
  

  Previous experience working in a team environment 

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with Kafka or streaming data tools 

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with ERP Data Structures (Oracle E-Business, SAP, etc)
