Job Description:

The Lowe’s Data Support Craftsman performs a wide variety of data entry and administrative duties for the Lowe’s Sales Team and assists the six Account Managers as well as the Senior Account Manager.  Even though this position will report to the Home Office in Azusa, CA, it can be performed at any of our nurseries located in Visalia, CA, Dayton OR, Cairo, GA or Granby, CT. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.       Works with spreadsheets, typing, and maintaining a variety of correspondence, records, and reports.

2.       Fields calls from stores if Account Managers are unavailable.

3.       Assists with order writing and data entry.

4.       Communicates any shipping delays or issues with shipping department and Account Managers.

5.       Initiates new item setup and maintain marketing data in Lowe’s systems.

6.       Assists in responding to consumer questions from Lowe’s website.

7.       Travels to and represents Monrovia at Lowe’s events and spring kick-offs.

8.       Performs other related duties to benefit the mission of the company as assigned. 

SUPERVISION TO BE EXERCISED:  none

SUPERVISION TO BE RECEIVED:  Reports directly to the Lowe’s Senior Account Manager

WORKS WITH:  Lowe’s Account Managers, Shipping departments, and Consumers

COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

·         Intermediate to Advanced Excel level including VLOOKUP and Pivot table experience.

·         Demonstrates excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

·         Outstanding spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills.

·         Competency in typing, editing, and creating written correspondence such as forms, emails, and letters.

·         Able to audit own work, prioritize and complete multiple tasks with good follow-up.

·         Communication skills to effectively exchange information with craftsmen and external parties in a professional and patient manner.   

·         Self-motivated, dependable, and organized. 

·         Willingness to learn new skills and computer technology as needed.

·         Collaborative skills to work well with team

·         Time management skills to generate and submit timely information.

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

·         Minimum of 1-year experience in Intermediate to Advance Excel is preferred.
