KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop IT business strategies and plans that align with and support the US Commercial business objectives
* Act as the senior technology and digital innovation advisor to the US Commercial business
* Facilitate communications between ITS and the commercial business
* Help institute and facilitate agile product and service methodologies together with the business
* Drive business process improvements using new and existing technology capabilities
* Identify new business capabilities to be enabled by technology
* Bring than outside-in perspective to Zoetis with strong ties to innovative companies within and outside of the healthcare sector.
* Participate in the enterprise portfolio / budget development process by representing Commercial business priorities and objectives
* Participate in Commercial business leadership team meetings
* Identify, prioritize and manage demand of new requests for IT solutions and services.
* Develop and manage project portfolios for business divisions and global processes
* Develop business/functional cross platform solutions in agile manner
* Assuring delivery of function specific IT solutions and services, and owning resolution of delivery issues
* Define and maintain business domain architecture (matrix role with strategy and planning)
QUALIFICATIONS:
* 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience and demonstrated leadership in a dynamic, growth-oriented company. Experience in a customer/ consumer-oriented industry is a must.
* Transforming digital leadership experience specifically in engaging with consumers providing a technology enabled world class experience
* Practical experiences on consumer engagement, omnichannel, converging physical and digital efforts in a global setting
* The leader will have experience in both internal as well as external facing technologies. Data and analytics for serving consumers better, process automation, robotics, streamlining workflows and developing digital platforms are all initiatives that the US CIO will need to evaluate, prioritize and deploy in partnership with others.
* Professional record of accomplishment that reflects significant strategic partnership with and contribution to the business, including demonstrated leadership in large, complex, multi-divisional global settings.
* Strong operational integration experience and proven technology organization leadership characterized by high performance and efficient operations
* Strong communication and broad influence skills; ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Strong track record of developing technology and digital talent to ensure proper leadership is in place to drive innovation and transformational change
A track record of successful people management, project management, business planning, product execution and bottom-line execution
