What you will be doing:



  • Day to day management of all health, welfare, and retirement programs including but not limited to benefits enrollment/termination process, COBRA, orientations, claims, and invoice reconciliation. Develop communications/materials for benefits annual enrollment, meetings and events.

  • Manage various leave programs, including, but not limited to Short Term Disability, Family Medical Leave, Paid Family Leave, and Workers Compensation.

  • Maintain knowledge of and analyze federal/state regulations, plan documents, ERISA, IRS regulations, benefit program trends, and prevailing practices in the industry and similar organizations.

  • Processes bi-weekly payroll and ensures accuracy of hours, deductions, and earnings codes. Resolves payroll discrepancies by working with accounting department. Completes payroll reports for management as requested.

  • Recruit active and passive talent for open positions from multiple sources, including online networks, professional associations, networking events, and other sources.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of the local employment market and how it affects your talent network and the hiring needs of the managers you support.

What we need from you:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or similar. PHR or SPHR a plus.

  • Three to five years of Human Resources experience including but not limited to benefits, payroll, recruiting, and employee relations.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong PC skills; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint skills

  • Adaptability and flexibility in an ever-changing environment.

  • Detail-oriented

  • Must possess the ability to follow-up and to function with minimal supervision

  • Exhibit a positive attitude, cooperative spirit, willing to work flexible hours when required

  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality
