FLEET BUSINESS ANALYST

2004863 The FLEET ANALYST will be a key stakeholder in developing a world-class fleet program at Unifirst. The role will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, reviewing and interpreting relevant fleet safety, compliance, and maintenance data. This person will communicate information to leadership and operational Team Members through the development of reports, presentations, and performance metrics. This person will also assist with the development, implementation and monitoring of policies, procedures, and best practices. The position will work closely with the Head of Fleet Management and other Fleet Team Members.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Collect, analyze and interpret vehicle and driver information.
* Evaluate risk mitigation and cost savings strategies.
* Key analytics includes spare ratio percentages, total cost of ownership, warranty, recall, maintenance and fuel expenses, other financial expenses and compliance performance.
* Develop an understanding of the complex data systems and develop reporting tools and dashboards.
* Program administration on key data systems; ensuring accurate information and provide support to end-users.
* Capability to offer innovative ideas, approaches, and solutions
* Support in the development of training content, policies and procedures.
* Create final deliverables in a variety of formats (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) to summarize completed analysis, best practices and recommendations and present all findings.
* Responsibility for development of, and maintaining strong working relations with other key departments such as HR, Finance, IT, Asset Management, Risk, Purchasing, etc.
* Performs other job-related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience -
* 2 years of experience in Analyst type roles or related fields
* Experience in Fleet Management, Operations, or related field preferred
* Knowledge of DOT regulations are preferred but not required
Education -
* Bachelor s Degree in Business, Finance, or related fields or equivalent work-related experience.
Additional Requirements -
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft office suite, specifically in MS Excel
* SQL proficiency preferred but not required
* Advanced in data analytics and visualization tools.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Strong time-management, and problem-solving skills
* Interpersonal skills/comfortable in team-based setting
* High level of attention to detail
* Comfortable working with large datasets
