Job Description:

PAPÉ MATERIAL HANDLING, INC. – CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA

SERVICE COORDINATOR Position will communicate directly and work closely with the Product Support Manager, PSR, Technicians and customers regarding pending, ongoing and completed service jobs. Essential duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:


  • Receive service breakdown calls from customers and obtain necessary information.

  • Schedule technicians to jobs based on customer need, technician specialty and/or skill set, and geographic efficiency.

  • Gather and post information into business management software and record accurately and efficiently.

  • Collect repair orders as they are finished by managing the work in process through the company business management system.

  • Check repair orders for accuracy and completeness, verify information and follow up with technicians to minimize outstanding work in progress.

  • Make outbound calls to customers to schedule appointments for preventative maintenance.

  • Assist with clerical tasks and customer follow-up as necessary or as directed.

  • Manage the work flow process of the team of assigned technicians.

  • Follow up with supervisor regarding noncompliance issues concerning the technicians timely and accurate submission of paperwork.

  • Invoice work orders in a timely manner.

  • Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned.

Must maintain the highest standards in safety practices and company policies, and professionally represent the company at all times. Computer proficiency and experience with Excel and Word required. Communication skills, both oral and written, must be above average. Must have excellent attention to detail and follow through on jobs. Technical, leadership and sales experience preferred. Applicant must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
