Part-Time Mortgage Post-Closer

DCCU currently has an opening for a Part-Time Mortgage Post-Closer in their Mortgage department.  The Mortgage Post- Closer is responsible for the review, quality control, and post-closing of loan packages. This includes reviewing closed loan packages for accuracy, preparing closed loans for shipment to the appropriate parties, and following up on outstanding documentation after closing. Scan complete post-closing packages into mortgage software, export into optical storage and maintain book vault.  This position will prepare necessary documents and process purchase data to appropriate parties.  They will research mortgage related or servicing issues from members, staff and vendors. 

 

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of mortgage lending experience, with a strong knowledge of mortgage lending and corresponding best practices.  This individual should be a self-starter with strong initiative and the ability to multi-task, possessing effective communication skills, and strong analytical skills.  Excellent internal and external member service is a requirement, as well as the ability to manage a fast paced work environment.  Direct experience is preferred but not required.  Individuals with a passion for learning new things and a commitment to development are encouraged to apply. Ability to lift 20 lbs. and have a valid driver’s license.
