In this role, you will support the execution of production packaging solutions and artwork across multiple brands.
If you are as passionate about Pets as we are, and would like to make a real difference as a part of a creative and winning team then we want to hear from you! This position is located at our Secaucus, NJ corporate headquarters, but is temporarily working remotely due to COVID-19.
You will …
- Create prototype packaging and product mockups as sales tools
- Create layouts, package designs, and illustrations to meet required specifications
- Create designs that visually communicate desired product packaging messages
- Consult regularly with packaging engineering and marketing on product development
- Create PDFs for print and review
- Have the ability to apply an approved design concept, to various product formats (cartons, labels, blister cards, etc.), in a cohesive manner
- Participate in collaborative revision and approval process until the final design is approved
- Prepare and prep approved artwork to vendor specifications
- Ensure brand standards across color, font, production quality, etc.
- Provide image retouching, clipping paths, and additional image manipulation
- Catalog and reference art for future projects
- Follow a development timeline to ensure tasks are being completed on time and within budget
- Troubleshoot problems as they arise
You'll have …
- A Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, or related field
- 2-3 years of professional experience in a Production Design role
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
