UNCOMN is seeking a Software Engineer 3 to:
· Provides software development support to Mission Planning Enterprise Contract (MPEC-II) involving F-15 program's digital integration of weapons and aircraft flight performance modules, map and imagery data, target and intelligence threat data, aeronautical and weather data, GPS data, and air tasking and control orders.
·Develops, maintains and tests code in .NET environments
·Implements design and satisfies allocated requirements
·Performs peer reviews on code and design
·Develops, documents and maintains designs for software consistent with the defined architecture
·May lead day to day agile software events
·Troubleshoots and investigates difficult problems across software components. Evaluates proposed solutions to problems
·Performs software requirements change assessment and provides a technical interface to requirements change-assessment meetings
·May develop, select, tailor and deploy processes and tools; establish metrics; and utilize regulations and industry standards
·Provides guidance to less experienced employees, performs research, and enforces coding standards
·Provides subject matter expertise to other technical and support personnel. Supports operational and integration issue resolution
·May perform integration and qualification test of software in the target environment
·May travel to customer sites
