Job Overview       

Ascend Learning is seeking a passionate Test Security Administrator in our Leawood, Kansas office.  This position requires a detail oriented, analytical individual looking to make an immediate impact on our dynamic and quickly growing business.  The Test Security Admin contributes to investigating testing irregularities reported by internal and external customers, managing and conducting recorded proctoring video analysis, and helping with best practice and proctoring of assessments. This position also provides strategic cross-functional support and works with the Assessment Sciences team to develop and enhance the security of our content.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Test Security inquiries from internal and external customers


• Conduct and prioritize incident response, investigation, and root cause analysis activities to facilitate content protection.


• Develop processes and procedures for internal and external users to reduce risk of content exposure and brand devaluation.


• Manage and conduct video review of remotely proctored assessments, and follow-up on irregularities as needed

• Be a subject matter expert for Test Security topics as a consultant to product design, content creation, market research, budget management, and revenue goals.


• Monitor/setup and administer remotely proctored assessments.

Skills & Abilities

Written Communications:  Able to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles; can get messages across that have the desired effect.

Analytic with Urgency:  Quickly analyze and investigate testing irregularities and issues.  Provide appropriate feedback and recommendations to quickly resolve any issues.

Problem Solving Skills:   Ability to dive deeply into issues and create a plan of action to quickly respond to and resolve the issue. 

Detail Oriented:  Ability to analyze the smaller components of an issue and use these to help identify larger trends.  Able to thoroughly document all steps and interactions up to and including resolution.

Required Skills

• 4 years of customer service experience.


• Knowledge of assessments, proctored tests, and testing sciences preferred.


• Strong communication along with a customer-oriented attitude


• Experience creating and updating process documentation.


• Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office applications.


• Strong written and oral communication skills


• Ability to work well with a team and collaborate on group issues.


• Highly motivated and ambitious with strong analytical skills.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
