Member Representative – Call Center

DuPont Community Credit Union (DCCU); is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Member Representative for our Call Center.  Founded in 1959, DCCU is a financial leader in the Shenandoah Valley; currently serving over 107,000 members, with over $1 Billion in Assets.  At DCCU, we go beyond transactions and truly want to help our members achieve financial success by aligning them with the right products and services to help make a difference in their lives.

This position will be responsible for providing exceptional member service through telephone inquiries to include deposit and loan accounts. They will carefully match the right products and services to meet the needs of each member. This position offers a dedicated career development plan to advance the knowledge and skills in order to provide full service for each member experience. Job duties include but are not limited to: serve as trusted advisors by building strong relationships and always acting in the best interests of our members; inform, educate and advise members of DCCU’s products and services that contribute to their financial health and well-being; execute member requests to include transfers, withdrawals, payments, debit and credit card inquiries, direct deposit transactions, stop payments, etc.; and trouble shoot and resolve issues that may arise involving the various electronic channels.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent. They will possess exceptional communication skills with an emphasis on professional and effective telephone skills to uphold quality standards while servicing both internal and external members, a high aptitude for detailed work and accuracy and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. This candidate will also have the ability work effectively as a member of a team and contribute to individual, team and department goals while promoting a positive team environment to include remaining flexible and taking initiative, and a strong regard for confidential and sensitive information. They will also have demonstrated excellent communication skills as well as a desire to develop and grow in their career. Candidates that demonstrate excellent communication skills to include both oral and written fluency in Spanish and English are preferred.
