Working closely with the assigned pathologist, the Pathology Assistant will be be responsible for completing tasks assigned by the pathologist, including dissecting and processing tissue samples. The Pathology Assistant may perform forensic and hospital autopsies, and surgery on specimens for diagnoses. The ideal Pathology Assistant us accredited by ASCP, and has a Bachelor's degree in Science, or a related field.
