Overview
Enterprise Information Services, LLC (EIS), a Cognosante Company, as the Managing Member of the ITES Solutions, LLC Joint Venture, is seeking a highly motivated Lead Deployable Satellite and Expeditionary Communications Planner and Architect to support all activities for our potential Command, Control, and Infrastructure Operations (C2IO) program for the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) headquartered out of Fort Belvoir, VA. Responsibilities
The Lead Deployable Satellite and Expeditionary Communications Planner and Architect will provide technical leadership and comprehensive management of all aspects of Satellite Communications in support of INSCOM and their strategy This is an opportunity to really make a difference in supporting our U.S. Army Intelligence Community. The selected candidate will:
Provide comprehensive management of all aspects of Satellite Communication deployment from analysis of mission needs to verification of system performance.
- Provide consulting and recommendations to managers, supervisors, and the workforce on the implementation of world wide deployment of satellite communication nodes in support of operations, exercises, and future mission requirements.
- Designs and implements communication architectures to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements and provides for present and future cross functional requirements and interfaces.
- Analyze user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop Tactical and Expeditionary Communications system requirements specifications.
- Engineer and design Primary, Alternate, Contingency, and Emergency tactical communications systems from unclassified up to SCI.
- Leads teams of operators responsible for installing, operating, and maintaining tactical communications systems.
- Installs and troubleshoots remote sites by themselves with demanding customers in austere locations.
Qualifications
Clearance and Certifications
- Active DoD TS clearance with eligibility for SCI with Special Background Investigation and be able to attain SI, TK, G, and HCS access
Preferred certifications:
- IAT Level II
Additional Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in comparable field of study with 6 Years' Experience in a related field; or
- Bachelor's Degree in comparable field of study with 4 years' Experience in a related field; or
- Master's Degree in comparable field of study with 2 Years' Experience in a related field
