You can be part of an exciting new group aimed at identifying and advancing the new processes and manufacturing technologies needed to realize Bose's next generation of products.  As a member of Bose's Advanced Technology Manufacturing team, you will help define, develop, implement, and transition new technology solutions to design and manufacturing to increase efficiency, reduce cost, improve quality and enable customer value.  Through this role, you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a diverse consumer electronics company on advanced process design and manufacturing needs.

You will be responsible for:

• Assisting in acquiring, evaluating and implementing new technologies to support next generation product design and assembly challenges

• Assisting in developing innovative materials, processes, concepts, and design approaches for new products and manufacturing methods

• Undertaking basic project development tasks such as writing and verifying specifications, maintaining process and product documentation, testing and validating new processes, equipment, and product prototypes

• Preparing results from experiments and report findings to the team

To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:

• Initiative to support the execution of prioritized advanced technology manufacturing projects

• Good organizational skills, technical curiosity, and desire to work in a fast-paced team environment

• Strong analytical approach to problem solving, developing innovative solutions, and showing good judgement

• Demonstrated ability to work independently

• Successful record of accomplishment executing school and/or internship projects

• Previous internship experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus

• Currently pursuing a graduate or under-graduate degree in a Mechanical Engineering discipline
