The Bose Signal Processing Research group is seeking a talented engineering intern to assist in the development and testing of world-class audio algorithms. You will use your passion for music and audio, along with your engineering background, to work with a cross-functional team of researchers bringing astonishing audio experiences to future Bose products.
 Responsibilities:
The intern will assist in the design, implementation, and testing of advanced audio algorithms. The responsibilities will include:
- Working with a cross-functional research team to implement real-time audio prototypes
- Making acoustical and electrical measurements on physical prototype hardware
- Writing and debugging MATLAB code for testing, analysis, visualization, and audio processing
 Required Skills:
- Proficiency in writing and debugging MATLAB code
- Basic understanding of signal processing (sampling, filtering, frequency-domain transforms, etc.)
- Experience with laboratory measurements (data acquisition systems, oscilloscopes, etc.)
- Passion for audio, music, and sound quality
 Additional desired skills:
- Familiarity with acoustic measurements, audio quality assessment, and psychoacoustics
- Familiarity with real-time audio processing
- Working knowledge of real-time prototyping tools such as Simulink, Max/MSP, or Pure Data
- Active musician or sound engineer
 Education:
Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering or physics
