Job Summary:

Under the direction and supervision of the Project Manager or Supervisor, the Store Worker Crew Lead is responsible for stocking and organizing merchandise in a retail space. They receive and distribute merchandise throughout the store, displaying it in accordance with procedure, and take inventory of stock regularly. They’re also responsible for performing customer service duties. Maintains constant monitoring of cleanliness to ensure company standards are correctly maintained, while using the appropriate supplies and equipment in a responsible and efficient manner. The Store Worker Crew Lead is responsible for managing a small crew, prioritizing daily tasks, assigning work, using equipment, maintaining records, monitoring work quality and work schedules, insuring crew safety, and training employees. Interacts positively with facility members/staff and responds to requests for custodial related matters. Maintains constant monitoring of cleanliness to ensure company standards are correctly maintained, while using the appropriate supplies and equipment in a responsible and efficient manner.

Job Duties:


  • Assist Project Manager or Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed.

  • Move merchandise by use of non-motorized equipment that is intended for display and resale purposes.

  • Stock at a minimum 40 cases per hour.

  • Include the cleaning of merchandise on or in display fixtures utilizing various merchandise techniques common to retail trade.

  • Merchandise may be displayed by a predetermined placement system using labels or other identifying marks.

  • Maintain the display sales area by straightening merchandise to give a neat, full, and salable appearance.

  • Remove damaged or outdated merchandise, and displaying merchandise in such a manner to maintain freshness and sale dates.

  • May determine display or sale requirements from existing inventory.

  • May be required to keep inventory forms of merchandise stocked and merchandise returned to storage.

  • May be required to affix labels to merchandise indicating sale price, item description, or other information.

  • Face/straighten aisles.

  • May be required to offer customer or patron assistance with the location or selection of Merchandise.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Inspects work to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.

  • Complete all duties listed on the daily schedule and maintain assigned areas and equipment.

  • Identify safety hazards and abide by safety rules.

  • Document inspections and other maintenance activities.

  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.


  • Must be at least 18 years old.

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.

  • One year relevant experience required, three or more years preferred.

  • One year supervisory experience preferred.

  • Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable.

  • Read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

  • Knowledge of tools, equipment, techniques, skills, materials, and methods of janitorial work.

  • Complete Bloodborne Pathogen training.

  • The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms and/or legs.

  • The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).

  • The ability to lift between 25-50 lbs.

  • The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to work in safe and efficient manner.

  • Be able to pass a background check and screening requirements as required by contract and company standards.
