Ensures the administration of the company's quality, process, and business improvement efforts across multiple plants within a region.
This is a remote position in the NE.

This is a remote position in the NE. Preferred location Massachusetts
- Provide regional leadership for continuous improvement resulting in productivity gains from doing it right the first time;
- Ensure that site(s) are in compliance with corporate quality requirements;
- Ensures that testing standards, procedures, and equipment provide reliable results and prevent shipment of off quality products;
- Ensure control plans are in place and adequate at plants within the region;
- Train, mentor and develop plant personnel in the application of Quality tools (SPC, DOE, Centerlining Process, Control Plans, Problem Solving, etc.);
- Lead problem-solving and process improvement processes with manufacturing and the customer to achieve resolution and elimination of current product issues
- Audit company and supplier sites for compliance to national standards for sanitation, product safety, and quality systems;
- Ensure that sites meet external requirements of customers and regulatory agencies;
- Provide for successful new product launches, by ensuring clear specification development, process capability definition, and attainment of customer satisfaction on initial shipments;
- Other duties as assigned.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree, or significant experience plus special training.
- 5 years or more experience in a Quality role.
- 3 years or more experience in a Quality leadership position.

Preferred:
- Knowledge of statistics, SPC and Six Sigma
- Metrology and Gage R&R
- HACCP and GMP
- Implementation of GFSI scheme, such as SQF Code
- Able to manage multiple priorities & meet deadlines
- Influencing skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Problem-solving and root cause analysis
- Understands quality systems and requirements such as an ISO
- Pushes self and others to achieve high levels of performance
- Converts information into action and improves company performance
- Understands major aspects of producing products that meet or exceed customer requirements
- Can teach and mentor others in the fundamentals of problem-solving and the use of Quality tools
