The Business Systems Analyst Epic Research is an active participant on project teams contributing based on particular area of business expertise. Delivers enhancements and contributes to maintenance and support of assigned systems. May coordinate routine small and medium projects of limited complexity.
Additional responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
* Work with Clinical Research business stakeholders to assess needs and objectives and assist developing Epic-based solutions
* Serve as point person for configuration and support of Epic research-enabling functionality, working with other Epic teams as applicable. Epic areas of ownership will include but not be limited to:
* Billing calendars
* Study tasks
* Navigators and Security classes
* Reports and Registries
* System Definitions
* Serve as point person for coordination of other ongoing Epic tasks including, but not limited to:
* Enhancement and new feature planning
* Release note review
* Application and Integrated Testing
Additional Experience Requirements:
* Certification in an Epic Clinical or Billing Application Required, OR,
* Minimum 5 years experience working in a Clinical Research function (e.g. study coordination, administration, etc.), including experience using Clinical Trials Management and EHR Applications In lieu of Epic Certification.
* Strong Communication Skills
* Strong analytical skills with ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems or process requirements
* Strong collaboration, customer service and interpersonal skills
