The Role

The Staff Accountant III is an energetic collaborator with an adaptable communication style and a passion for continuous improvement.  The Staff Accountant III will support the accounting department by building deep relationships, contributing to special projects, and researching operational accounting questions. A excellent candidate for this role is self-motivated with a work ethic for achieving results and a desire for understanding complex operations and ideas.

Your Impact 

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

•          Preparing complex reconciliations and journal entries

•          Assisting with internal and external financial reporting

•          Producing quarterly audit schedules 

•          Working on important accounting and organizational projects

Who You Are 

•          A motivated self-starter with a work ethic for excellence

•          An efficient and effective communicator

•          Able to prioritize tasks and has excellent attention to detail

We’d love to hear from people with 

•          3-5 years of accounting experience

•          Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred

•          Deep knowledge of accounting principles and ability to apply GAAP principles

•          Proficient in Microsoft applications

•          Large, Multi-National Public Company and / or Big Four experience a plus 

•          Experience with Oracle and Hyperion is a plus
