The Associate Product Developer for Apparel is a key member of our team that bridges the gap between US Design team and China Product Development team. The Associate Product Developer will support the Lead Developer(s) and Sr. Manager in all things associated with bringing a garment to life from design hand off to final sample approval. A strong candidate for this position will be detail oriented and able to switch between tasks and seasons effortlessly.
Your Impact
The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:
1. Supporting Lead Developers & Sr. Manager of Product Development in apparel for UGG and updating BOMs in PLM throughout season.
2. Assist Sr. Manager and Lead Developers in creating and updating BOMs in PLM throughout season for apparel and socks.
3. Assist development team with daily correspondence with factories and data entry work. Follow up on fabric, trim, labdip approvals, sample approvals, etc.
4. Prepare for seasonal fittings including organizing samples, specing garments and taking notes during the fittings.

3 – 5 years’ experience or relevant work experience in the Apparel Market
Proficient in Microsoft Applications; Excel, Word
Proficient in Adobe Applications
Experience in email communication with overseas colleagues / vendors a plus
Working knowledge of Flex PLM system a plus
Experience working effectively in complex global organizations, satisfying the needs of diverse constituents and often working under the pressure of competing and sometimes conflicting priorities
Strong organizational skills
