Yanfeng in Highland Park is looking for a Logistics Analyst willing to work on the 3rd Shift.   

Job Summary: Responsible for coordinating and facilitating activities associated with material flow and inventory control to meet customer requirements on a timely basis while maintaining a safe work environment.

Main Responsibilities:


  1. Coordinates with shipping and receiving supervisor to ensure all production inventory inbound and outbound transactions are accounted in ERP system.

  2. Coordinates with Production and QC department to ensure all Finished Goods and .WIP controls are in place to keep accurate inventory.

  3. Plans, coordinates cycle counts and supervises cycle counters to ensure corporate policies are followed.

  4. Plans and coordinate Physical Inventory in accordance to corporate requirements.

  5. Conduct routine audits which may include MBOM, Inventory Control parameters and LPA audits to ensure inventories are accurate. 

  6. Lead Investigation and problem solving activities of inventory variances.

  7. Analyse inventory performance against targets and recommends/implement corrective actions.

  8. Ensure 100% compliance for all production scanning prior to moving product to its storage or drop zone locations; establish key indicators for performance tracking.

  9. Communicates effectively and works well with his/her fellow Team Members.

  10. Responsible for providing recognition and positive reinforcement for all Team Members, in a manner to further develop each member of the team.

  11. Investigate and resolve problems among Team Members assigned to the area (interpersonal, conflict, performance, etc.).

  12. Work with materials, quality and operations team to reconcile inventory, receiving, delivery, presentation, and/ or quality discrepancies with inbound or outbound products.

  13. Other continuous improvement projects and duties as required.

 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) or equivalent; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Work Experience:

- APICS certification preferred

- Detailed understanding and experience working with MRP systems

- Working knowledge of MS Office, Word, and Excel

- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment

- Ability to process time sensitive information and orders and meet deadlines

- Ability to accurately communicate to co-workers and management

- Accurate Document Control

- Previous experience in Supply Chain and inventory control; experience in repetitive, just-in-time manufacturing, beneficial

- Effective oral and written communication skills
