What will you be doing and how will you make a difference at American Senior Communities?



  • Making a difference in the lives of the residents we serve by providing them care and compassion

  • Acting as a positive teammate to fellow employees by helping onboard new teammates

  • Responsible for data entry of accounts receivable, bank deposits, reconciliation, and resident trust

  • Performs data entry for ancillary, therapy, hair care and other charges, along with the necessary data entry of trust activity, which at times may involve issuing checks

  • Maintains resident business files and assists with month-end processing and billing

  • Completes and transmits all Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, VA billings and private statements, adjusting resident accounts as necessary

Requirements



  • Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or, one or more years related experience and/or training; or, equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Must have knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations including billing guidelines

  • Must have knowledge of Veterans and insurance billing guidelines

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Must be detail oriented, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and organize accordingly

  • Must be familiar with UB04
