As a Sr. Financial Analyst, your key responsibilities will be:
* Provide financial analysis to senior management, including but not limited to: gathering, analyzing, preparing and summarizing various financial reports and variance explanations.
* Assist in preparing monthly / quarterly business review presentations for senior management.
* Analyze and forecast sector functional department costs and communicate to sector department leaders
* Prepare ad-hoc Finance reports as requested for management.
* Assisting with special projects as needed.
* Communicate and coordinate timelines and deliverables with business unit finance teams.
* Focus on continuous improvement of processes and templates to better support the businesses with more efficient and effective approaches.
* Support in the preparation of the annual long-term financial plans (five-year financial plan) and budget process
* Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis.
Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelors in Accounting or Finance or equivalent education
* 3-5 years of relevant work experience
* MBA and/or CPA a plus
* Working knowledge of FAR and Government Cost Accounting Standards, as well as commercial (non-government cost accounting)
* Knowledge of business intelligence tools including Smartview and Oracle systems
* Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (specifically Power Point and Excel applications) and Business Financial systems
* Ability to Travel = 0-10%
* US Citizenship
