Responsibilities: The HR Associate position is primarily responsible for completion of the new hire onboarding and clearance process for staff joining RWJBH. The onboarding process includes the completion of criminal background checks, primary source verifications for education/licensure/certifications, scheduling of pre-employment physicals and completion of I-9 work authorization, among other requirements. The HR Associate is also responsible for HR Customer Service delivery and phone support for a number of RWJBH locations, in addition to the scheduling and facilitation of onboarding presentations, employment verifications, administrative support for regulatory inspections, among other responsibilities. Primary hours are 8:30a-5p with the occasional 7:30a-4p shift. May also require occasional weekend shifts.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in HR or related field. Prior experience with HR onboarding processes and responding to various internal (employee) and external inquiries is strongly preferred. Proficiency in MS Office is required. Demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills also required.
