As a Sourcing Specialist on our winning team, you will be responsible for ensuring growth, increased profitability, and customer satisfaction with our partner mills & vendors.

Here are the most important responsibilities you will have:

You will be responsible for building and maintaining professional relationships with our vendors & mills
Taking initiative by developing new channels of procurement to secure business, supporting sales and marketing strategies for all product lines & services
Research existing and prospect mills & vendors
Organization and attention to detail is critical, since you will be keeping up-to-date information on all your accounts and tracking vendors for annual evaluations
Communicating with fellow Customer Experience Representative (Inside Sales) and achieving action plan timelines
Working with a network of professionals - you will be collaborating with Account Managers, Outside Sales, Vendor Representatives, etc.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by leadership

Position Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree is preferred
You have a strong desire to learn from your training and possess a team player-mindset
Prior experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain or sales is a plus
You have a talent for finding and building a network of professional relationships
Relevant experience or familiarity with the metals industry is a plus
Flexible and able to adapt quickly within an ever-changing, fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to take initiative on projects and assignments
You have a knack for time management and you can manage multiple priorities
Experience using AS400 or SAP is a plus; Microsoft Excel is required.
